Haa haa, thats pretty accurate. News these days is not informational. Its propaganda, boobs, and blood. Not too many facts, and the weather isnt even right half the time!

Yup, I've been saying it for a very long time. When stuff like Nicole Richie eats a hamburger makes the news then you know we as a country have lost our way. When they televise the burial of an ex-Playboy Bunny instead of letting her be laid in peace then the US has certainly lost its way. Yeah, this was funny but very truly sad as you said.
I for one did not laugh when Britney Spears shaved her head. I was so pleased to see the Scottish guy say enough is enough, there's a point where we stop laughing and realize these are human beings with emotions and real problems.
