The Journey Home
Painting done by: Tracy Jo
Here is my finished painting i started yesterday. I am not sure why the path is blue, it is a light violet when looking at it in person. I will see if my husband can take a better picture of it tonight.
I hope you all enjoy!
As usual all comments are welcome.

This is stage one of a painting i am working on. I am exploring light, and putting down my passions on canvas. I am not sure exactly where i am heading with this painting. I know the bottom of this painting looks like water, but that wont look like water when i am done.
Today i just sat and painted. This is what emerged. I want to be able to just paint from the soul. I am hoping that emotions will be released. I know that i try to do that with every painting i do, so i guess i am still exploring allowing my emotions to show.
hmmmmmm lets see what happens when i sit down to it next.
As always i love to get your first impressions. I asked my eldest son, and well he said mom, i really am not good at seeing emotions on canvas. He just sees light, and color. lol

Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed,
This tiny little Prayer
Keeps running through my head:
God bless all my family
Wherever they may be,
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For they're so close to me.
And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do;
Hope you don't mind me asking,
Please bless my computer too.
Now I know that it's unusual
To Bless a motherboard,
But listen just a second
While I explain it to you, Lord.
You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds and ends;
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my friends.
I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.
By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you.
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendships grew.
Please take an extra minute
From your duties up above,
To bless those who are my blogger friends.
That's filled with so much love.
Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each blogger friend,
And each person who comments here.
When you update your Heavenly list
On your own Great CD-ROM,
Bless everyone who says this prayer

I am finally using my wii-fit, and I love it! Up until this week i have only used wii-sports. I have enjoyed every minute of the wii-sports, and think it a wonderful way to get yourself moving while having fun at the same time. I find though that if i use both the sports and the fit together I will get an overall better work out.
This is my second day using wii-fit, and already i see some results. It is great for warming up, learning how to stretch correctly and for improving ones balance and helping one to breath correctly. With the wii-fit it tracks your progress, calculates how much you need to lose, and helps you come up with a fitness program that is right for you. It lets you know when you are not working out right, and keeps you totally focused on moving just right. It also keeps track of how many minutes you are working out. I find myself really enjoying wii-fit!
In the second picture i have posted here, I learned a lot while doing this specific exercise. First off never do this exercise when you have a Maltese around! I kept trying to do the tummy tuck while my lily girl thought i was on the floor to play with her! I laughed so hard that my stomach hurt! She was all over my face licking me , and keep jumping all over me, hugging and kissing me... to the point i had no choice but to stop, move her to another room, and rush back to do these difficult exercises... lol I have to admit having her play while i was on the ground lifted my mood right up! (Although the program was chastising me for not keeping my hips tucked under) laughing! The program knows when you are not doing the exercise right or at all!
I do not think I have ever been chastised by a computer program...lol It does keep you focused though and motivates you to keep moving, which is a wonderful thing.
My mood has been so lifted after working out with wii, that i have been able to accomplish other things right away.
If you have never seen or heard of wii-fit, you should check it out! Especially if you have trouble keeping motivated of focused while trying to lose weight and keep in shape.. I love it!
I hope you all have a blessed day!
Thought of the day :In God, there is peace that is greater than the turmoil caused by our dieting!
Bible Quote of the day :
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

As you can see i have changed things up a little. I still need to work on the blog in general, but I think this new look is a good one. It says a lot about my personality, and in general touches the artist in me.
I have had a lot of new things going on in life of late. One of them is I received a new wii and wii fit for my birthday! One of my goals this year is to work out. To get fit, and hopefully that will mean get healthy. I am trying new things, and hope to spiritually grow with in the Lord. Painting is also a goal for me. I want to improve my painting skills. With the Lords help maybe this time next year I will achieve my goals.
Please be patient while i work on changing up my blog!
Blessings sent from me to you.
