Update on my health.

I have not wanted to talk to much about my health issues of late. Mainly because talking about my health issues does nothing but worry others. I was told today though by a friend that people care, and that not sharing only worries others more. So here goes, although I am going to just give facts.

My fibromyalgia has been rearing its ugly head. The pain and swelling has been awful. I am having some pretty nasty headaches.

My bleeding disorder has also decided to show itself. My stomach is bleeding as well as my throat. It's been bad, but I have seen it worse in past years.

I have not felt like doing anything other then relax, sleep and do things that take my mind off my health issues. I have been doing things that bring me joy.

I do not like blogging when I am hurting. I feel like all I do is complain when I am in pain. Nothing can be done to help ease these problems other then what I am already doing. This is why I have not been on blogger much. I try and sit down to write, only to find I can only think about what is hurting me. So i write nothing. Blogger is not the only thing I have decided to ignore. I have not been calling anyone, mainly for the same reasons I have not been blogging. I know my friends would tell me that this is silly. I will call my friends soon. Promise.

I can go to the hospital but am choosing not to go. My reasons are simply because the doctors can not and do not help me. In fact they tend to make me worse. So I am hanging out in my house taking care of me.

This time will pass as I told my friend. I have been through all this before and will most likely deal with all this again.

For now I am just going to relax, take care of me, and do my very best to ignore the pain.

I will blog when I have something I can think of to blog about.

I too am sad to hear that you are in pain.

Pain limits us ... both physically and mentally.
You have a beautiful soul ... soft music and stillness to calm you and your body.
Focus on your slow deep breathing.
It may help.

It is good that you share ... you will have many supporters here.
she gently leans in and gives you a hug.
Hoping that you will strengthen soon.

Mysti, please look into infrared saunas. I am in the process of purchasing one for our home. The health benefits are well worth exploring for yourself. Some spas have them for custumers.
E mail me if you'd like details, or google them and look into the studies of infrared heat and light therapy.
You struggle with some pretty tough stuff, but there may be some
answers in this reasearch.
peace, and hugs

I understand what you are talking about very well, mysti, because we both have chronic illnesses that haven't reached anywhere near the understanding and acceptance that many of the others have (diabetes, heart disease, cancer, oh you name it).

You have fibermyalgia and a bleeding disorder. I have bipolar.

I also understand the desire to not want to go to a hospital. Sadly, they sometimes don't do any good. And I know that you are not a child. If it was dire, you'd go.

I'm glad that you are taking part in things that bring you joy. I'm so thankful there are things of that nature still for people like us. It makes it all bearable.

So if you don't call for a while, I still love you. And for the one's that don't 'get it' and give you a hard time about not calling, or the worry that it's creating for them, you're probably best trying to let go of the worry that their responses to your illness(es) create for you.

How nice that they don't understand in the first place. I call that 'dumb normies' but then that's just me. :)
Talk to you soon,
Glad to hear from you again :)

Thank you everyone for all your loving support. I truly appreciate it.

Hope I have two friends who have told me the same thing. In fact hubby and I are making sure we have an area set up so we can put one in. :) Thank you for thinking of me.

Thank you everyone I shall write soon.

Happy Valentines Day!

Hugs and blessings.

You are not alone Mysti, there are people out there who are with you and pray for you, you may not know them. Your friend is right, there are people who care. When you are aware of such invisible company it helps to comfort you.
You are not alone Mysti.

Dear Mysti

If you find the time to email me, I have some information that might be useful for you, for your healing.

But, to start with, taking into consideration that pain prevents one from doing many things, perhaps if you allow me, I could recommend a some audio that may be accessed from the library.

The author is Caroline Myss PH.D (super cool) ( the tittles are:
“Why People Don’t Heal and How They Can”
and my very favorite source of “solutions”
“Anatomy of the Spirit”

I understand what is to go through what you are – I have been there.
These “things” happen to highly sensitive individuals.

Warm, heartfelt wishes for a rapid turn-around.
Love, joy, laughter and a big hug for ya

PS How did the show go?
